February Server Contributions and other stuff

Payment for the 2142 server will be due within the next week, so if you enjoy playing on it, or any of the servers we have, and are able to, please feel free to send in a contribution from the donation page at http://www.ninjaserve.org/forums/donate.php , and is a new addition to the site since the Forum upgrade today.

As always, your contributions are very appreciated!

I'll be adding a few more things around the site to try out and make things that much more fun around here

Yes, just one of those things I've overlooked this week, it's been a long one, and it's only tuesday! With DayLight Savings changes being a nightmare at work over the weekend and becoming an uncle sunday night, it's been a little crazy!

But yes, our March server payment is coming up very shortly, and with SSP having to discontinue their server, it's going to make for a little crunch.

To those that have contributed 'off-notice', we thank you much for your help!

As soon as I can get a couple bugs figured out with the donations module I put in place, we'll be able to see where we're at for our goal for each much at any given time.

Question: Where does our money go to? Is this money going to you to pay for the host of our server and are you making profit or no. I just like making sure my money is actually going to help the servers run and not for someone to spend on themselves. Unless ofcourse you are the person hosting our server with a box or something.

The servers and website etc are run on machines that I either lease or own, either way, there are costs involved.

But no, I/We don't make a profit on anything here.

I think you should post a goal for everyone to meet and show what progress has been made towards it. If people realize that they only need to donate $5 to make an impact, I'm sure they would be more inclined to donate.
