Chicago would be cool but I want Finn to play with out troubles. So... New York is my answer.
Also on the infantry maps.. are they going to have evil vehicles running around? I'd rather pwn kids with my mad bullet skillz

i wont play any maps that are air maps like kubra dam they are too big and never have enuff vehicles on those over-sized maps. and you will have a hard time populating a "normal" server. just being truthful. if you make the server all city maps 24/7 you will do better. or just one or two very popular maps like 24/7 karkand/wake or something... but however you do it is fine.

Sharqi should be thrown in the tho. That map has the best balance of air imo. I'm not always to worried about helicopters blowing me up. Then sometimes I am.

I still play a few hours a day.. and there are alot of servers that run one map only and they stay populated.. You get a server with good admins you get a server that stays populated..

So, would people then agree with me that we should run a 24/7 [Map name & Style] at least until we get a player basis?
My favorite server is then one that has a smaller player slot (20-30 players) and runs on 64 player maps. I think the highest I've scored was about 350+ on a 10 v 10 infy map.
People always play karkand but that is pretty much Counterstirke's dust_2. You get bored. So some servers feel that Jalalabad should be thrown into the mix. That map needs vehicles. If you have infy only on that map good luck. Karkand I'd keep infantry only, vehicles on that map make me cry. Sharqi is also an ill map to have with vehicles, I'd play that thing alllll day.
So if we like infantry only (which is me):
Karkand I/O
Balanced Vehicle Maps:
Sharqi, Jalalabad
Balanced Air Maps:
Wake, Dragon Vally(hell for infantry), Gulf
Those are my opinions. I could play a Karkand I/O, Sharqi and Wake rotation probably for the rest of my life

if we did 24/7 city maps it may help but for gods sake dont ever make a 64 man map with 32 players.... its so lame having a map that takes all day to run across looking for enemies only to get sniped. having a 64 man 24/7 type server will keep us full until we get a loyal following again. im assuming it will be a 64 man server and we will all need to chip in to get it going...

That costs lots, and when have we had ease with throwing in for servers?
Why would you ever want to play deathmatch style crap. 20 people in one area at once is lame. There's absolutely no skill in shooting at bodies not to mention snipers killing 8 people at once because they run in and spam claymores like losers. To many players are lame in any game.
If you don't like huge maps with low number of players 32 man maps are decent with 20-30 players. Because we're just starting off again that'd be a good idea too.

We're going to start with a 52 slot server, if we need to raise it up after it (HOPEFULLY) gets going, we will. I'll keep you guys informed, and as soon as I have the info, it'll be posted all over, as usual.

I agree with no wake.. no dragon valley, no dalian plant and no FuShe pass in my opinion.. The air powers are very unbalanced with the J-10 vs F-35. J-10 vs F-18 is nearly even.. I do like Zatar Wetlands as well.. MiG vs F-35 isnt bad, even though the MiG has a definite advantage.
