I disagree with this. We are thinking of changing it. Players are loosing all the money they have by getting hit by BM's. If you gained a level mid-round... I don't think that is going to turn the tide of the match.

I hate finding out its last round when i have 10000 for a tomb but im still alive and cant buy it....

isnt 10000 for 100 xp a bit expensive anyway?

this is a slow xp server. 100xp for $10k is fine. Otherwise you gain levels too fast. Also people tend to just run around with the default pistol and only buy tomes. $10k makes that harder to do, and less worth-while. That encourages them to gain their xp through playing, and helping their teammates. Often you're going to find that the xp you gain by buying a gun will greatly out-weigh the xp gained from a tome. This means that if you're doing well, and you have the extra cash, you can waste it on xp if you so choose to. It really isn't that hard to level up, it just takes a little time. I had a friend of mine come on the server, and at lvl2-3 he went 44 - 13. Your race skills can help you, but your raw skill and teamwork will always prevail. I'm not saying everyone is going to do so well, but I tell this story to show that it is quite possible.

i think he thinks that if a human gets his lvl 1 devotion that he's gonna get it mid round... even though thats impossible because hp is set at the start of the round only... same as run speed, and invis.
