custom map!!
Ok my buddy is making a map for my startrek mod. However the mod shares similarities with wc3. So I figure this map should be pretty fun for the wc3 server as well. It's not done yet, but here's some screenshots from the beta release.
The really dark one is inside the T spawn (a borg cube).

What's really funny is that w/o my graphix card software, the bottom pic is so dark all i see is a little piece of metal, and a little piece of the terrorist. When i brighten it up everything is visable. *throws monitor on ground*

he doesn't play on our server much, Saboteur.ca
he's my partner in TrekMod that's why the map is called st_beacon (st = star trek) it's a bombing map. the metalic pilars (beacons) are the bombsites.

Ooooooh, because my old clan was name tag was ST and they made maps and before everymap they out "ST_whatever"

Anyways, is it a bombmap? Or just some shootout with no objectives?

omg I played the new beta ver of this map... all i can say is PWN!!!!
I think the beta is good enough to be played and enjoyed. If you want me to post the map let me know.
The ceiling has been raised, there's a few kind of exploit spots now, but you can't shoot through it anyways so it doens't really matter too much. Also framerates have been increased. I get over 100fps on my crap vid card.
