There were a few things that happened from what I remember starting when we had Google ads on the site - we cut the swearing down for the younger crowd (that’s one of the main reasons why nsn was formed. and swede left...) and we cut the swearing on the forums.
It’s a rule. It’s something you follow. You were warned as most of us do. And as we changed from a community where swearing was commonplace, we also had more younger members come in - making the need to reinforce these rules a larger priority.

The admin's do their job
AS THEY SEE FIT this goes for all parts of ninjaserve - both in forums and server. If they feel something is disturbing game play, they can do what they feel is necessary to keep the server under control. And the rules are clear. You just said it. You usually swear! I cuss; I'm sure all of you have heard me when I am drunk. But - I disengage my mic and have a blast shouting at the screen..
Do I swear with little kids in the channel? No.
Do I swear in the game chat? Most definitely not...
Try reevaluating your reasons for swearing in public. There's no need other than to make a scene and bring more attention to yourself.
