Just to clarify, this mod has been around since before DoD. The idea of adding the classes comes from warcraft (which surprisingly enough, the mod is named after). The idea of cs being a fast paced fps is that of your opinion. While in matches there is a much shorter round time, there is still no rush to complete objectives, mostly due to the small size of the maps (and players). The idea of the mod is not to change how the game is played. It is a TEAM Objective Based game. This is NOT to be confused with Death Match. As deathmatch has NO objectives, just kill the other team. Granted there are some maps w/o objectives, but those are custom maps, and are not intended to be taken seriously. They're mostly made for practicing your aim.
So because this is a team oriented game, helping your teammates usually helps you stay alive. This in turn helps you and your team complete the objectives. That in itself is reward enough. Not everyone is a good point-man, so some players enjoy staying in the back and healing their teammates. Or covering the back ways with wards, and alerting the front-men to come back and help.

I think that maybe a better idea, rather than a flat rate, is to have tiers. I discussed this with Corrosion some on the server last night.
Have it so that when someone gets healed over 25, the healer(s) gain 5 xp each. When it goes over 50, the healer(s) gain 3 xp, and when it goes over 75, the healer gets 1xp.
Then the rewards are pretty small, but they will add up.

i say..... forget the XP for rewards. They get big bad vodoo.... thats big enough reward for them. Helm + Boots Of Speed + big bad vodoo = Godmode for 30 seconds.
if you get xp for healing with Shadow Hunter, you should get xp for resurrecting people as a blood mage.

Or maybe just cash of a certain amount using the same tier rate. $100x-200x those xp numbers?
You did say it was a team game...so getting rewards for helping the team succeed is kinda a given. Kinda like bf series...same concept applies here.
I dislike the xp part of it because it is too much xp...but money on the other hand can be used to keep you alive longer next round

Interesting idea. Cash does seem to be a more free/open way to do it. Then you can spend the money on whatever you want, be it tomes or attack buffs for the lack of attack skills that SH's have.
