So you are saying that for the race doing what it SHOULD be doing, it should gain nothing? It has one of the few abilities that helps teammates FAR more than itself. It has few offensive abilities (Hex, even though great when it triggers, happens rarely) to help it get XP.

Indeed I am saying this. Each race has its own way of helping the team. This race is suppose to support the team as much as Undead is suppose to support the team. Shadow hunter role is to "support" and undead's role is to be on the "offensive" and human is more of a "denfensive" role. Each race has its own role. THATS THE WAY BOMBCODE MADE IT. Yes, some races are harder to level up then others. But, thats part of the game. You can cry about it all you want it aint going to make it any ezier. I like to believe the better players like a challenge hence you have races that are hard to play and gain xp. Anyway if u don't like the pace at which your leveling up a race to bad cuz everyone has to go through it. Another point you don't have to be that race there are plenty of other races.

It does gain something, freaking health. That should be more than enough. It's not an offensive race anymore. If you don't like it, stop using it. Use Nelf or something. Use SH when you are on defense, like T on Office. I think that if you get hit, back up and heal, and then get back into the fight, you have the potential to gain a ton of xp.

Make no mistake, I do listen to everyones opinions and concerns. I also have no problem with explaining why it's setup this way.
As was pointed out, with the ability to heal yourself, you can easily run back and heal. Whenever you shoot a guy u gain xp if they're a higher level. So by running back and healing, this allows you to gain more xp. Even tho you may not have killed him, you still probably got xp for hitting them. I'm just not gonna let you sit in the back row gaining xp for nothing.
Being able to gain xp for healing would mean 3 things:
1) AFK players would gain xp because teammates would use them for a healing beacon.
2) Players can sit in the back and never do anything productive and gain xp.
3) Rings would allow for both of these to happen.
If you're trying to do the latter, I would prefer you to have to buy tomes. This allows us to better control your rate of xp, thus making it the same for leveling all races. Humans don't gain xp for devotion, or teleport, or bash, or invisibility... why should this be any different? Infact no skill gains you XP. The only time you might consider it as such is when you kill someone with a skill, but this is still a kill, and gives the same value of a normal kill. This doesn't mean it's easier to level up a NE because you gain xp for killing someone with thorns. The fact remains that you would've gained more xp had you killed them with a headshot. You also would've probably gained xp for just hitting them, where as just hitting them with thorns will not.
The bottom line is that your logic was heavily flawed. It's not that I'm just refusing to do it, or not listening.
