Healing for XP
I think Shadow Hunter's should get a tiny bit of XP for healing OTHER teammates. 1xp/10 healing seems like a good figure to me, because then there is some benefit to healing, but it's not really worth it just to level it. More than one SH on a team? Then you get reduced results from it, of which we get 0 at the moment. I just think it would be helpful to give the support class some XP for SUPPORTING, or doing their job.
On a side note, will wards get increased size? Currently, even a ward in a small doorway can be gone around fairly easily. I learned today as well that Undead can even jump over wards from the same floor as the ward. The damage even sucks on the wards, at best doing 5 damage to a person who walks through the middle of it, and with it's TINY range, that will never hit more than once.

Free healing is one of the most useful things in the game, especially because it heals everyone around you! If you or your team gets hit with a nade or something, after a few seconds it didn't matter. If you can get away after getting shot up a few times, then it didn't matter. Now take a whole team like that, and healing is enough. Even if there is more than one, how often are they in the same vicinity? Don't need extra xp. Winning is its own reward.
And about the wards, yeah I noticed that the dmg isn't that great, but they are more of a deterrent and a nuisance than huge damage dealer. They also stay there as long as you're alive, if I'm not mistaken. That's awesome. It would be sweet to add a slow or something on them so people just can't run right through them and only get hit once. Then they'd be all over.
Just my opinion, and I love hearing new ideas.

The whole point of the wards is to deter enemies from going one way. AND... if they do, you know it because of the hit indicator. They are not meant to be an offensive skill. Shadow Hunter is really a support/defensive race and all the skills are meant follow that.
I had also thought of having a small amount of XP given for when a teammate is healed. I don't think it should be added because people can level easier. Instead, it will encourage players to support their team. So, yes, I think this is a great idea. Glad someone else mentioned it as I probably would have forgot.

Wont happen. Rings would end up giving out xp.
As was mentioned, winning is it's own reward. You get team bonus xp for completing the objective.

Does the whole team get XP on the hostage maps as well? I know that the T's don't get any XP for winning. Italy for example. SH's are incredibly useful, as you can cover cellar/mid and know when enemies are close. However, their healing powers don't do crap to help get THEM kills most of the time. The wards I think would be better off not doing damage(still make them flash on the owner's screen), but each time one is walked through, the victim is slowed by 10% the first time, 5% the next, 2.5% the time after (adding of course) etc. That is defensive, maybe a tad overpowered, but useful. Cut it in half even and it is more useful than the damage. My screen sometimes flashes several times in a row, but at the end of the round i have done SW damage... twice.
Also, healing teammates is kinda not good for getting yourself XP. Your teammates get more kills, thus robbing you of potential victims. I also think that warden should get some XP for blocking ultimates. Then another semi support class can get XP for doing its support job.

Wow u know its bad when u can hear the kids voice as u read this. I mean healing is a bonus in itself and people wanted xp for healing others. Duhhh no. Why not just get xp instead of healing then it doesn't make sense and on top of that if u do it for w/e race that is then u have to do for rings. In that case people will just buy rings all the time making it so ez to level up. Its insane how bad people want xp. The other day atleast 3 people asked for 5000-10,000 xp their reasoning was they hadn't been in on in a few weeks and everyone else was at a higher level... Really now? they were at a higher level maybe its cuz they earned it. The mod isn't going to plz everyone heck I hate the fact undead explosion sux cough cough, but u got to work with wat u got and appreciate the fact that we even have a mod. The faster you learn this and the faster u learn little tricks around this the faster your going to start enjoying it

Here's a thought, you don't want to heal your teammates, then go run out and die alone. Try being rambo, see how far it gets you. It's a team game. Play as a team, win as a team. Play alone, die alone.

meh
while the idea sounds nice, because as an SH its kinda your duty to stay alive to heal, it does promote excessive camping and would ruin the fast paced action of CSS. the wc3 mod is ment to liven up css by giving gameplay some variety and some rewards but its not ment to completely revamp the way css is played, it is still a basic team deathmatch fps and trying to use server side mods to create essientially different player classes (a la DOD) wouldn't really fit too well with the games fast paced add style gameplay, although camping is still integral, rewarding campers is (imo) the last thing any server wants to do.
