Thumbs down Shopmenu 'R

i've been pondering this for a while, and i still don't get it. MOTD says to balance teams, admins will ban for stacking, yet theres a shopmenu. as most people know, in css you get money for winning and for killing and a little money at spawn. so, if team A is raping team B, team A is gonna have so much money that they start buying paras and deagles every round, while team B plays with smgs and shottys (or sometimes just pistols) to save money to buy an ak/m4 every few rounds.

then, to further unbalance it, team A starts spending money in shopmenu, buying helms, claws, cloaks, boots, moles, health, rings, amulets, scrolls, tomes, etc. the shopmenu, for this server, seems to be contradictory to what is in everybody's interests and part of the rules, team balance. it also helps players who are doing well do even better, its like taxcuts for the rich which will trickle down to the poor (if water does it why wouldnt money?), but in this case, the rich and fighting the poor, kinda like nukes vs baseball bats. thats my 2 cents on shopmenu, i hope i didnt offend any rich people and/or republicans

The additions are there to add enjoyment to the game. I think they are awesome. Besides, if you can't win with a deagle vs. m4, you aren't playing right =)

I'd say most people who are really "rich" in game don't buy an item that completely unbalances the game. They were good to begin with. Really, take Brift for example. He was like 19-3 (I killed him 3 times), and do you think that after that he would buy a helm or something and *that* is what made him good? All in fun, I think the items are way awesome. They give you the skills you can't get if you are either low level or aren't that race. Some are just crazy fun (see: mole).

It's not contradictory. That's why we have the rule about stacking. It wouldn't matter if the mod was on or not. Sure, maybe skills can upset the balance even more... but isn't that why we try to enforce the rule in the first place? Players should be trying to even the teams out even when an admin ISN'T present. We shouldn't have to babysit all the time.

Oh, so if I saw someone sstacking I could take a pic and get them banned? Cuz Lotus switched to the winning team last night... A guy named Ninja did it when it as like 2v3 or something... Really annoys me, unless they are planning to have someone on the other side switch over.

Yes, take a screenshot and post it in the "Abuse" section. It's more for larger games. A small game of 2v3 is going to be pretty difficult to keep from stacking if one player is far better than the rest.
