There's also the problem of hosties. I don't know what to do about them. There's no way that it's fair you can go invincible for 5 seconds and run the hosties to safety. If there's a guy camping the ct spawn on italy, 5 seconds could be enough to run them in w/o worry of dying. And if not italy, any other hostage map.
The idea is not to prevent objectives. The t's objective is to stop you rescueing the hosties. So I have to find a way to make them stop following you.
The bomb I'm confident I can figure out. But hosties, I'm not so sure of. Might just make it so you can't activate it while they're following you.

Just write a line (or 20  ) that makes the hosties stop following you if you use Voodoo. I don't know if you could somehow activate the trigger that makes them stop when you get too far away. Maybe you could somehow "freeze" the hosties if it's activated?

i think increasing SH ultimate would be fine, but it would help if SH would changer color or have some sort of obvious warning to those shooting, with 5 seconds thats enough to empty your primary and secondary weapons (if u were noob/low on ammo and/or didnt know about voodoo) thus leaving u w/ just a knife and wondering wtf? kinda like when u triple hs the guy w/ a helm and then get wtfpwned. as it is the 3 seconds is usually enough to survive the better part of an m4 spray, sometimes all of it, but still leaves you w/ a pistol. as for hosties, maybe allow for a knife to slow a SH in voodoo or at least do dmg, that way if the t notices the ct is voodoo then can run in for a knife so t still has a chance to win, same goes for defuse. on another note, does helm lose charges if u get hs while in voodoo? idk the specifics of the code and im too lazy to level a SH and buy a helm to test it out

There will be no colour added. We had used the colour before because they could deal damage back. Voodoo no longer allows them to damage anyone. The whole point is to make you empty your clip unknowingly. If you knew you couldn't damage him, the ultimate would be rather pointless, and very limited.
As far as helm goes... I'm pretty sure it checks voodoo first. This way you don't waste your helm while your invincible.

The reason for this is simple... Players enjoy those skills the most. Undead speed + life leech is almost hacking. Human has lots of hp and can teleport. NE has roots and evasion. Orc, well they're just power-houses.
The other 4 races, while just as good, offer a much harder set of skills. The races are aimed more at skilled players. Fan of Knives for instance is a very tough skill to pull off. Crypt Lord is almost the same as NE, except that the extra damage isn't gauranteed, but usually does more. Their reflection is weaker, but gives you more armor (this combats fire damage such as orc nades or flame strike). The only thing it's missing is evasion.
Blood Mage is quite powerful in that they can easily gain cash very quickly. This allows to them use items more frequently then most races. Their Banish is more fun then useful I guess, but slapping someone off a roof can have some desirable effects.
S.Hunters are quite a powerful race. They are very good team players, healing not only themselves but your teammates. The wards help you alert your team of incoming attacks. Invincible allows you to act as a decoy to make your enemies waste their clip, or allow you to flee a battle and regen.
Basically it all comes down to preference. Obviously, the easier races are the ones that are more independent. Where as the last few are more or less dependant on your teammates. When combined together you can form some very powerful teams, with different combinations. Whether it be a group of healers in the back protecting the powerful orcs up front or w/e you choose to do.

The main problem people find Human and NE 'Unfair' is that the really good/skilled players at CS:S use them constantly.
Such as Brift (I use him as an example a lot cause he's the only really good player I see often on the server lately) used to use Human constantly. Not only was he exceptionally good at using it, he had the skill of a regular CAL clan player to back it up, making his ability to rape with that race really good.
If it was some random 'noob' player using NE level 10, chances are his score would be quite horrible as he would not have the aim/tactic of a good player to make the best use of NE. This goes for just about every class...It's not a problem with the Races as it is the people that play them. It's rare you go into the server and a knowningly good player isn't on playing his favorite race and raping with a 2:1 score or better.
