ok you guys... i cant sleep because i dont know why... but i have been thinking about this tonight and i figured i should just post and get some feedback... ninjaserve hosts many games such as bf2 cod4 and aoc. each time i get on these servers they are empty. i dont know how many ppl are on them on average but i can guess not many.

if i am wrong then disregard this.

however, i think we could expand on these avenues. if we got people to populate these servers one at a time and then go on a major ninjaserve ad campaign in these servers to get them to come to the community. we could build the community further and fill these servers.

the way i see it is that there is nowhere to go but up from where we are sitting right now. these servers have potential.

if we could get our cod4 server to be as populated as another one i play on called bright house networks. then we could grow faster than our css community is growing.

one suggestion i would like to bring foreward for the cod4 server is that we make it headquarters. lets face it. headquarters makes it easy to gain levels so more people go there to level their accounts on them.

but yeah... i was just thinking about this tonight and i felt like sharing it.

we could do similar things to our AoC server and BF2.

if we get all our servers populated almost 24/7 like our css server is, then we could grow as big as team pain clan is and they are doing quite well for themselves. (team pain clan runs a css hide and seek server that i love)

whaddy yall think?

addon: my college has lan parties every now and then and i was thinking i could go and introduce them to ninjaserve as well.

We have CoD4 and AoC servers? Right now the only servers we have are BF2 GG and WC3ft.

I was thinking about pulling people in on other servers but you could be violating other server rules. You could get into good conversations and befriend people then bring them to the server but straight up classic Gem & Point style spamming could be bad. That's the only thing i 'd watch out for.

We've had a COD4 server since the game came out. And the AoC server has been out there for months now. That one actually does get a decent amount of play time, but it seems likes it's mainly during the day.

I knew we had them when the games came out I just didn't realize they were still in operation. I'm going to start saying that when I'm talking up the community in Project Torque. PS ty for setting up the that ts channel.

i never said any thing about spamming or desperate... im just saying if we could find a way to get ppl to play on those servers all the time then ppl like myself can randomly join it and have a good time as opposed to the other non ninjaserve servers.

the new wc3ft server isnt actually doing very well atm.. it struggles just to get around 12 people.. there was one time a couple days ago were we got 20+ but then again half of them were nsn.. the next map population split in half pretty quickly.. then it just started emptying out..

we had like 20 ppl on today and there were only 2 nsn on. its not doing bad. ppl actually think of joining it though unlike our cod4 server and last i checked bf2.

ok well on to another thing i was thinking about. is advertising the servers on the side of the forums instead of now hosting. there are banners that we can get at game tracker.com that i saw on another website and i believe we can do them for all the servers. i went to gametracker and found out that cannon or somebody already has them up there. thats when i actually found oug that if you go to the ninjaserve homepage and go to server status you can see similar banners with all the server information. however i always go straight to the forums... and from the looks of it so does everyone else who is active on the forums ex: remedyz.

Woot! Nice job Cannon! The game trackers look great on the left. Makes good use of all that black space that was there before too.
