Succubus longjump is crazy. Basically the guy can get from one end of the map to the other in a VERY short time. I know that it is hard to avoid stuff but that is just practice. I think that probably it needs to just be slowed down. Still jump as far just not as fast and no speeding up on every jump or something. Gemini was in T spawn on D2 in about 5 seconds. Way before the Ultimates were enabled.

Also speaking of Ultimates enabled... can we get a message that says "Ultimate Enabled" especially with a recycle time. That way people are not spamming the server with ulitmate commands. I find myself doing that a lot wth some of my races.

I think that the Rapscallion race is actually pretty well balanced. I am able to counter it pretty well with my moderate skill level when i am not totally ambushed. It definitely makes you slow down and really check the area for the little name to pop up

The Proudfoot thing fly is actually pretty decently balanced too i think. It is not fast and it puts you right in the line of sight of everyone when you use it so overall i think it is pretty good.

Human teleport is crap. I can't seem to get it to do anything. Am i doing something wrong?

We may want to lower the levels on everything though. It seems that most of the skills make a HUGE difference in how deadly a race is. It used to be that the race skills added a little to how good you were but not a lot. I think everything may just be a bit too high. Speeds, Damage, recycle time, etc.

I would like to see a few other races put back too. I liked Elemental.
Yeah def the last paragraph needs to be considered. I mean holy smokes too much of everything i mean I got hit once by a gun (not a hs) and died. I also had to put well over 300 damage into gem inorder for him to die. he had like 300 hp or something thats ridic. And locust is not random and u prolly know that. but i think on the whole everything needs to be turned down alittle bit.

Aim teleport like a sling shot. You pretty much have to arch it. If you don't you teleport like an inch and there goes that for what ever the cool down is now...


Everything that you did to level a race is gone as soon as you leave the server talon. The xp resets with no save function.

This is only true because we have Turbo Mode on. Once this is off, it will take a lot longer to level and the experience will save.

One more thing Night elf roots are lacking distance. I have it leveled all the way and the guy has to be like within 15-20 feet??? i mean its strong and it last but no distance.... just another thing i saw. Also with Rap sometimes there is a green line above the person not with everyone. (specifically just with Ketchup) I think he was buying a necklace or something and that plus the invis ability made a green line. IDK might wanna look at that.

little cooldown(5sec?) for succubus attack tackle when round starts, its insane how fast u can bhop to enemy spawn and rape everyone. NE roots sucks

I think we might be able to change how some of the ultimates work (roots & chain lightning). We could most likely use the code for the Gravity Pull skill (Elemental Race) which requires you to aim at an enemy. We could import this code that makes you "aim your ultimate" and then adjust them so it works like before. I think this sounds feasible so we'll look into it.

With that green line or whatever... can you take a screenshot the next time you see it. I've never seen that so iunno what it is.

Yes, as was already answered. When we are finished tweaking and turbo mode is removed, xp will be saved as well as harder to level.

I know was actually waiting till more people complained because of what I said to answer covenant's question.

Im sure thats do-able..will have to be added to the actually wcs coding file..has nothing to do with races. I will look into it.

I agree...but Im really wanting to slow it down by 20%. Its max speed is 1.66...way too fast. 1.44 might be better. Its not suppose to be an agressive race...which speed is making it be. Its an ambush race.

It is crap..and people have been complaining constantly on the forums here and on the warcraft-source forums aswell. There is coding I can replace it with but its coding that you can get stuck with if you arent careful...so if you want, I can replace it.

Tell me exactly what should be tweaked and how much and we can test it out.

Yes, I enjoy elemental aswell and there is another race I want to add... Elemental needs some tweaking of its impulse rifle...Im going to be making it push you back instead of up...so ya.

I can not do any of this until the issue with me being able to connect to the server and upload things is fixed..dont know whats wrong.

There is an item I beleive that gives you a crap load of hp...was trying to ask a person who was on the server what item(s) they had but instead they decided to kill me. Im already aware of it tho...300hp rap isnt fun. I will be adding caps to max hp you can have for all shopmenu items that give you hp.

Max distance at level 8 is 600. WHich is low you are right. I believe this ult is auto...so its a good thing..until its changed to aim and use i think maybe 750 is ok.

HP shopmenu items can be bought each round and you can buy more than one of them at a time. Thus being able to get tons of HP. This will get fixed.

-moling with the warden(fan of knives) sometimes puts you into random places like in the middle of the map, or it puts you into the middle of the map for like 3 seconds THEN puts you into the spawn. (not sure if this happens when you buy mole, not even sure if you can still buy it o.0)
-fan of knives percentage needs to be decresed.. 33% is wayy to high i find myself moling every round and eventually people just start waiting for me >.>

Give the orcs some steroids!!

I think most of these ideas are fine and all. However, I have a slight issue with the Orc. It seems that the critical skills, even when maxed, have very little impact on your attacks. The orc's entire strength comes from being able to do insane amounts of damage with only a few bullets or even one nade. Every other WCS server I have played on, including your old FT server, had orcs that could do that. As the orcs are now they do very little extra damage if any. The only skill that works properly at all is the resurrect. Also, the chain lightning needs a longer range and more damage for it per skill level. I know it can be difficult to figure what is too powerful sometimes. but Orc is just too sad right now.
Oh yeah, Shadow Hunter shouldn't have weapon restrictions. What you need is to have the wards disappear after a set time of about 30 seconds, no matter if he is dead or not. And the invuln should only be 2 seconds at max level with a cooldown of 30 seconds as well. This way it can't be over used. SH is a defensive race and limiting his arsenal kinda defeats the purpose a little.
Now the human. I'm not sure what it is about the WCS mod, but unlike the FT mod, that damn teleport can't do shit. Whatever happened to pointing at a wall 300 ft away and instantly blinking there with maybe a half second blindness afterwards? The teleport actually was useful and fun to use. Is there anyway to change the coding to where it can be like it was? Or is that just what it is, and I should just get used to it?
