WCS - Issues/Tweaks/Fixes

Here is my current list of what I have been told are that need to be changed or added or that I have already changed:

add:
possible to increase your speed so that using ammy of cat wont slow you down but will keep the silence.
>>port over change race not killing you from .77
drop item command?

Need to fix:
rap turns ult off if dmged.
possibly change rap's model so it has a smaller hitbox.
archmage being able to fly around the whole map; needs to be timed/limited
shopmenu: Orb needs to be % of decreased speed not a set ammount. Currently set to 0.7.
undead:Ult needs to be tweaked. On death and activatable.
Change: rap gfx maybe? (seen through walls)
Change:Human teleport.
SH needs to have invul restrict everything but knife.

Changed:
undead: 100% chance on death to explode (temp until perm fixed)
Nelf: changed roots time from 3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10 to 1.5|2|2.5|3|3.5|4|4.5|5 seconds
shopmenu: added beacon attacker item.
shopmenu:removed long jump
shopmenu:no level required for neck; price increase from 1k to 2k
shopmenu:invulnerability (godmode for 7 secs) price increased from 10k to 16k
shopmenu:ring of armor price increased from 1k to 2.5k
shopmenu:added 25% chance to orb of frost instead of 100%
Levelup gfx. It's now lower on the body so it does not block line of site.
//Archmage:increased cooldown time to "30|28|26|24|22|20" compared to "4|4|3|3|2|1"
//Succubus: longjump lowered from 1.1|1.2|1.3 to 1|1.03|1.07
Removed races: all custom races including flame pred, elemental, molecule, chameleon, sniper, and beast. May get elemental and sniper back when tweaked.
Rapscallion: ultimate cooldown changed from 0 to 1
Human: changed percent of bash from 15|18|21|24|27|30|31|32 to 3|5|7|9|11|13|15|17
//Elemental: precent of disincinerate changed from 13|18|23|27|32 to 8|12|16|20|24

//= does not apply anymore.

Any other ideas, suggestions, exploits, problems, and tweaks should be made here...or tell me personally in steam. Also if you find any cool races...then please post there here with a link.

You may or may not have heard that I'm working on a builder race. May not be the name when im done with it. Current ideas for skills and ult:
Descript for race..defensive mystical unit who can block paths.
Set to default: Can only use pistols and knife. Might change to sub machines also.
skill1= Extra Hp and armor, at the cost of speed.
skill2=Attacker loses his hud, including crosshair, when you are hit. Time it's gone depends on your skill level.
skill3=Build menu, for building objects. Current items and not finished: Small Crate, Dryer, Explosive Barrel, Vending Machine, filing cabinet, Mortar Synth, headcrab, stalker and many more to come. You will be given points depending on your level which are used in round to build items...each item will cost a different price so you cant spam the map with headcrabs for instance.
Ult=Turn into an object that blends into the surroundings. Depending on the map will change you into an object the matches the objects on found on the map. Or for custom maps will be random.During this time you only have a knife..kinda the same as rap...there will be a small fx with it but it will not be visible through walls.

Their may be another skill added later...I am unsure as of yet.

Adds:
- Drop item command would be nice, but not necessary. Currently most items stay with you till you die, but there are others that automatically drop after the round ends. I'm not too concerned with this function though.

Fixes:
- Rapscallion ultimate shouldn't be turned off if shot. Instead, the visibility will just be voided. They can stay up in the air if they want, but they will be visible.

- Archmage should only be able to fly for 1.5 seconds per skill point (8 seconds at max level). The cooldown is going to be touchy though. I will have to show you this in game Corrosion.

- Orb should decrease speed by a relative value of 25%.

- Idea for Undead (for everyone else to see): When being killed by an enemy you have a chance of exploding and doing an exact amount of damage. When suiciding you always explode, but the range of damage changes. This is in direct correlation with how high of a level you are with the ultimate. I just need to check if there is a range (like grenades) on the damage like our previous version.

Here is the ultimate levels breakdown:
Ultimate Level ... Explosion chance on death - Damage ... Explosion chance on Suicide - Damage
1 ... 20% - 20 ... 100% - 20-70
2 ... 30% - 25 ... 100% - 30-80
3 ... 40% - 30 ... 100% - 40-90
4 ... 50% - 35 ... 100% - 50-100
5 ... 60% - 40 ... 100% - 60-110

- Raps Ult Graphic: I talked to some people about using the "poof" smoke graphic, but just making it smaller. We'd have to try this one out, but if we could fix the current animation and being seen through walls - I'd say we could leave that "as is" for now.

- Shadow hunters should be restricted to using pistols only, just like I had it set previously. This can be set to 1 second per skill point spent in the Ultimate.

- Wards need to be adjusted as well. I'd like them to stay active as long as the person who placed them is alive, but the range and damage on them is much lower. Range should be limited to the size of the graphic (roughly) and the damager should be something like 10-15 damage per second.

- Orc currently resurrects for some reason. There are glitches on this when getting killed at the end of a round and resurrecting at the beginning of the next round. The skill seems to carry over to the next round... it's doesn't get voided.

- Night Elf ultimate needs time reduced from 10 seconds to 5 seconds max.

- Necklace needs to be looked at. Need to see if this blocks only 1 ultimate or not.

- Heavy Boots need to add 50hp and 50 armor. Currently, I think it only adds armor and decreases speed.


Changed:
- Level up graphic is something I want to play around with. I don't know if I like how wide it is either. It basically could give someone's position away. It isn't a huge deal, but I'll be looking into it.

I think boots of speed gives the person too much speed. I believe Undead fully upped is 136% and boots of speed is 125%. I think a better number is like 110 or 105. Just my 2 cents.

and crypt lord locust or w/e over powered

The max speed you can get up to with boots is 1.6. It gives you 0.20 more speed if your current set speed is at or below 1.4. The check is built into the item..we can decrease it if we see fit.

Necklace makes you immune to all ultimates and I am unsure if it has a range or not.


Let me look at undead right now and ill see what i can do..that will be first race to fix. Next is arch then succ..but again..we need to set the base races we are going to keep, and how many we can have. Our next TS meeting should address this.

Im thinking of a glow effect on the person for the leveling up would suffice.

A small smoke effect should be pretty easy just the tweaking it would be required. Ill change the effect of it to smoke immediately..and we will go from there.

Heavy boots gives you 50hp, item_assaultsuit (im assuming this is some number of armor), and 0.2 gravity. It removes 0.3 speed.

Uhhh... For shadow hunter, the ultimate cooldown will not restart when the next round starts. I think that may be the issue.

also, i know that there aren't many races on yet but are you guys going to put # limits on how many people can be certain races? so that way we don't have an entire team of raps on office/italy just scattered all over the place? the limits don't have to be small...like 4 max for raps on each team.

also, i think it'd be really nice if you guys could find some way to implement an item in shopmenu that would ban a player from going a certain race (like if they have it leveled way the hell up past the max and don't play any other race *coughB2kcough* *coughGeminicough*)

just throwin' that out there

And dont worry about the small details like limits and such..they will be enabled at a point fixing problems is the first thing to be done.
