Yes they do especially if your running adsense. Its not uncommon to see slurp crawling dozens of threads at the same time. Same with the adsense spider.

That's mainly due to the version of phpBB you guys are on, and the fact that there's no graphic/visual confirmation when you sign up (at least that I can remember). That's easy pickins for those bots I have a free forum site that, before they got the phpBB version updated and added the CAPTCHA, used to get a ton of spam/bot forum signups. It gets none now.

Ya that used to happen so much on my free forums site. Finally just turned on email and captcha confirmations.
