Norton 2004

I was thinking if any of you guys are using Norton Antivirus 2004?

The thinng is, I wonder if there is some place in the options were uncheck the program from scanning RAR-files. Every timre I download those files, it want's to start to scan them, and slows my computer down...So plzzz anyone, if U know how to get rid of that option...plz guide me throw...Step by step...from the beggining

Options/Norton Anti-Virus/ then at the bottom, you will see a check marked box.. "Scan within compressed files" I think that is what you want to uncheck.
