Game freezes up!
Quote:

Well, in the last day or two as commander the game freezes up when I open or close the commander window with Caps Lock. Also, after two games or so, if I take a picture, the game will freeze. (this has happened since I owned the game) If I wait long enough it will boot me back to the in-game menu then my PC will freeze half the time. I can play for hours without this issue unless I take a picture. The screen always looks something like this:

Alright I posted this on another forum, but I wanted to ask you guys, my super trusted computer experts.
Also, computer specs:
3.4 Ghz P4 650
2 gigs RAM
6600GT (latest drivers)
Auidgy ZS (not latest drivers)
Gaming through a router (possible port issue?)
Trend Micro Anti- Virus running (it may be the issue, ya never know)
No Viruses or Spyware (yes, I check quite often)

is vid card overclocked too high? - try dropping it down to stock 525/1.05
Is ANYTHING running in the background that could POSSIBLY activate using caps lock. uninstall any recently installed programs, and see if that helps. - thats my guess
my only other thought would be heat problems somewhere, (use the 2ft case fan if needed)
..house fan

Nope, I have had them for a little. I haven't over clocked at all. You may be right with the caps lock as I believe I have a hold on it. As for taking pictures, I dunno. Like I said though, if I don't take a picture I can easily play more than 6 hours.
Edit: Alright, someone suggested I open up the side of my computer and use a floor or desk fan and blow into it, I'll try that and let you know the results.

have you tried blowing out any dust accumulation? It really looks like a bad video card.
