Car Troubles
I have a new battery in my car, if I don't use it for 2-3 weeks its empty.
Any Tips???

i had an electric fuel pump on one of my older cars that wouldn't shut off even when u turned the ignition off. i had to pull the fuse for it everytime i parked it.

Something may be wired wrong and draining the battery while the engine is off.

has the car got an alarm system?
some cars batteries will only last approx 3 weeks if not used. this may not be a fault

Could be anything, I have that problem, and it is due to a alternator, why did you replace the battery? You may have a problem with the alternator, or it could be a bad battery. I always check the alternator first though!

Locutus,
Check for ANYTHING that uses electricity from the battery. A radio, amplifier, light. Even if it's an alarm. I have a brand new truck, that went dead in two weeks due to an Amplifier aux. power. Unlucky me, it stayed dead for almost a month and KILLED the battery. So I had to install a new one.

Hmmm theres a beeping sound, like the one on trucks, thats on when in reverse gear that might be it.
It's a Toyota.
