SLI video lag

I have an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe with 2Gigs of ram and 2 EVGA Geforce 6800GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express X8
What I dont understand is I get rubber banding on BF2 even when it is set to med quality at 800 X 600 @ 75 refresh am i missing a tweak or what?
I would have thought I could run this on high quality with no problems any ideas? or is this just the way the game is?
PS I am not overclocked and no heat issues at all after 2/3 hrs of gaming my processor and Vid cards are well under max temps

what version nvidia drivers you have installed, and you might be hitting the issue with that board.

i started with 77.77 then tried 78.01 and Im now using 81.84 a beta driver I had the same problem with all of them and i just reinstalled BF2 thinking it might be the game. I havent tried 78.01 since I reinstalled BF2 though.
also I keep getting booted from the server for a wrong version but thats after playing 4 to 6 rounds even though i have ver 1.03

what did you mean by "you might be hitting the issue with that board"

this is where you are standing north lets say and without touching the controls you turn to the right or left
makes it really hard to hit anything

it must be yer internet connection cuz my box aint as good as yers and i run on high np

there was an issue with the Deluxe series of the board, can't remember specifically what it is.

it was fixed in the premium version.

1st, throttle back your processor. any issues you may have with your pc try that first...even program specific.

Second, POWER!!!!!!!! rubberbanding has happened in flakey Power supplies,Is yours sli cert? try checking your rails.

Another thing you might try, since your in an sli configuration, your nb can be scorching hot - what is that running at?

I dont have anything overclocked or do you mean back it off to see if it clears up?
I have an Antec TPII-550 the ASUS sight recomends 500W for a heavy load which I am under.
The MB, vid cards and CPU are well under max heat range even after playing for 2 hours or so.
Im going to play tonight and have TS off to see if thats effecting it and I will write down the temp for the board etc but it is low like 20c under on proc and MB, vid cards are less than that. Also when its bad it is right from the start of the game, sometimes it is worse than others.
