Mounting BF2 img with DaemonTools or the like?

Has any one played with this at all? Succeeded or Failed with any of the tools like this that are out there?

Here's the dilema. I've got the DVD version of the game, but when it came out didn't have a DVD reader on hand, so I borrowed one from my friend Lotsurb.

Anyhow, I still haven't gotten one quite yet, and he needs it back (lurking on eBay for a Pioneer Dual Layer at the moment), so as a temporary measure I was wondering if anyone had succeeded without getting the old "Please put the blah cd into the drive" while trying to run from a virtual DVD/CD image.

I made my Image using Alcohol 120% and AnyDVD.
If I remember right, works fine.
