Graphics Error - Computer Crash

Wierd title I know, but every once in a while when I'm playin CSS my computer will completely reboot without warning. When it starts back up it says my graphics card had an error. Says possible solutions could be windows update and/or graphics card driver update, but... those are both up to date. So I guess I'm not looking for an answer, but more or less to see if this happens to anyone else.

My computer specs are Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4100 (maybe 4400) 128MB, Windows XP Pro, 1 Gig DDR RAM, 2.4mhrz processor.

Any advice???

I have that same problem every now and then. I hate it when it happens in a big gun fight right after somebody kills me...

The kicked my ass right off the server...

im not just getting kicked off the server... my computer completely shuts off and reboots... makes no sense why it would do that though

check your CPU, chipset and graphics card temperatures.

also turn off reboot on error
control panel/ system/ advanced/ startup and recovery
make sure the auto start is unchecked under system failure
that should stop it from restarting and you can get the blue screen with the error

btw... i've notice that it happens mostly on Militia. I can't imagine it would be a temp overload.. i've joined the server and it shut down in like 10 seconds lol

I also had that prob,where pc would just shut down while playing CS.I'm thinking it was a ram issue.Ever since i'v got new ram ,it hasn't happened.With my old ram,i ran a ram test program and it told me my ram was fine
