Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket

Every time I try to log on to this server (CS:Source) or any other server, I get this message. It started after I was playing on de_inferno in the WC3 server. A popup came up and said that I needed to restart my computer for Automatic Updates. I finished playing inferno and then exited Source and restarted my computer. When it came back up and I tried to connect to the game again, I received this message "Errror verifying STEAM UserID Ticket." Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

Nevermind, problem solved. I guess I should have checked the Steam forums before posting on here. Sorry!

yes. you have to log out of Steam. then log back in. the way i do it is click the "log in as different user" tab then log in with your name and pass.

I had already tried that. I had to delete three of the steam update files and then let steam update again. It finally worked though.
