Hey HP,
I just got to thinking, all my problems started when I put in a new motherboard and processor. I think when I did that, I put the sound card into a new slot, cause its irq changed. When I get done reinstalling windows and then the creative drivers and teamspeak, if I still have that echo you were talking about, then I am going to change the card's slot. Have you tried that?

no i haven't changed the slot. for the nearly 12 months i've had this system, it's been in that slot. didn't have problems with it until last month.
