Over-Clocking

Born & I were talking about it last night a bit, but neither of us have any idea how to do it. Besides doing an internet search on it, have any of you out there done this? If so, any pointers or suggestions? How big of a difference did it make in system performance?

Most Mobo's have overclocking software on the CD.

You can always start there.

Personally i don't think it is worth the risk. I think most of the performance nowadays is from Video card and memory anyways. All it takes is a little too much to smoke your proc. Be better off spending the extra cash to get a faster proc then to risk buying 2.

Simultaneously...

Adobe CS3 Photoshop
Adobe CS3 DreamWeaver
Adobe CS3 Flash (sometimes)
About 5 or more IE Windows
Winamp/Windows Media Player
Other little programs here and there.

Sometimes I run games in the background while I do these sorts of things to so add a game engine into that here from time to time.

Well if I can overclock it, then I'll just go that route.

I am very sure you are able to. First check to see if your software has it. I'd help ya more but the only thing i've ever over clocked was my graphics card.
