Incompatibility with FarCry

I just loaded FarCry and a patch but I seem to have problems when on the desertcombat.org ninjaserve. While playing in a map, suddenly the DC program would quit. Another user had the same problem, except that he used the FarCry demo. This happened on Friday evening. Other servers did not have this problem. I uninstalled the program and had no problems.

I installed FarCry & the patch yesterday but I did not seem to have any problems. Does anyone know if there is a compatibility issue or was there an issue with a player using some type of hack?

i doubt it's a game hack.

How could there be a compatibilty problem if your only running one program at a time? I guess they could use a common dll and install their own version. I have the farcry demo and don't have any probs though. I'm running WinXP.

I'm also running XP. After the re-install I did not have any issues. Maybe something else contributed to the problem. Thanks.
