Smiley gang

I haven't been around for too long, only a few weeks, but I play on the WC mod CS server a lot. Lately, there's been a trend of people adding the [☺] tag to their name as well, frequently leaving the smilies outnumbering non-smilies. So far, we haven't introduced any negative elements to the server, we get angry at people swearing, work together to kill or annoy obvious hackers and generally have fun as a group. However, this is not our server to do with as we please, so I am here to ask that we be permitted to stay on your server and (in all likelihood) expand as others ask to join. We absolutely 100% do not recruit or demand others to join us, it is 100% off people asking to join us. We are not a clan in the sense that we scrim, have a server or have a hierarchical structure or possess any of the other typical hallmarks of clans. Rather, we are just a group of like-minded people, who enjoy playing on the WC server and want a community to participate in and be a part of, with friends and reasonable, enjoyable games together.

If this is not allowed, I will immediately disavow myself of the smiley tag and recommend to the others that they take away the tag as well. If necessary, ban me, do whatever you want. I've looked at the server rules and this doesn't seem to violate any of them, but naturally, the rules are totally up to you and this is a rather exceptional case, outside the bounds of most rules. I'm posting this to ask for your permission to stay on and have the smiley gang stay on your server to enjoy it and keep it clean for all others to enjoy as well.

Oh, in case it helps, I estimate our current numbers at around 20 to 25.

The only thing I can advise is that you do not use it as your own server. If there are others trying to join and the majority of players are indeed smiley clan members, it is not inducive to community play. The other issue is with being a clan, you like to play on the same team - organize and dominate with your clanmates this can push people off the server because of one sided play and organized tactics.
I want to state that I am in no way in the position to say yes or no, that is ultimately Cannon/Horsepower's decision, you should talk to them about this issue personally.

I would say at this point as long as you're playing by the rules of the server, not recruiting the server's player base away from the server and are following the no-stacking rules and such, and trying to keep the teams at both a fair level and number, then enjoy playing on the server, the more the merrier.

If there becomes an issue, we'll take it from there fairly quickly
