BF2 Server
Tonight we were playing on your BF2 server and had a problem with the enemy commander dropping jeeps and killing peeps. He did this continually. We complained to the admin on duty and he warned the guy several times.
Your admin said that it was a bannable offense to do that, no questions asked. The problem was that he kept warning the guy and he jsut kept ignoring the warning. We eventually left. If you ahve a commander that is breaking the rules and getting away with it then what good are the rules?

Ok, that is not what i said or how it happened. I only complained on ONE map, Gulf of Oman. I never switched sides, I was always MEC. I compalined, and so did my other clan mates but I was the most vocal. You say you talked with him and he apologized, but why then did he continue to drop the jeeps on peeps. Not only me but at least 4 other peeps that I saw.
As far as leaving because we were on the losing team, check your logs. We left as soon as the map started to load. I never even got into the game.
As far as bringing Cannon into this, yes I did make the comment that if the admin on duty was not going to fix the problem then I would paost here for Cannon to read.
SSP has had a long history with Ninja and I know how the servers are run. Ask around. We were here when Ninja was started and I will not be talked down to, wether on the server or in this forums. I have admin'd serveral of our servers and one Ninja server with Packett. Get your facts straight before you start ranting to me. It took you over 20 min of my constantly asking you to do something about this situation. If you jsut want to paly and not admin, then don't say you are an admin. But if you are going to be an admin, then do what it requires.
Rant is over.

Taz is pretty active with admin Timber. I don't know what happened, but I'm sure it was a misunderstanding as things sometimes are in-game. The 'fog of war' so to speak. I was here from day one when I wanted to put up the forums but Packet said he would host it. Matter of fact, I was the one that added your admin accounts. We've always enjoyed playing with you guys. I just got done playing with Smelly. Good times.

Ok, I jsut don't like that one particular thing, dropping jeeps on guys. It's bad enough with all the other stuff. Everyone syas Taz is a good admin, I accept that. Maybe it was a bad night for both of us. Yeah, it is a game, it is also my way of relaxing after a long day at work.

1. That map was Gulf of Oman and we won then left for the night.
2. That commander was a smart butt, his name was "Straght-"something.
It's just that jeep thing get's old quick. It's all water under bridge (untill I see him again LOL)

Yep, the vehicle drop is dumb. That's why it's against server rules. Problem is, when you boot one commander for doing it, the next guy that comes along does the same thing. Personally I want it removed from he next patch. BTW, we don't normally ban for this, at least not on the first offense. But yeah, if the commander isn't responding to the admin warnings they need to be booted.
