Thumbs up Great Cpu For Great Price

ok well my old computer was just getting more and more outdated, and my dad and i knew we had to get something new..Well my dad has been in the computer business for some 20 years and so he has accesses to the latest info on everything. he was searching for a real good cpu when he came accross the Emachines t6520. now i know in the past emachines has had kinda a bad reputation for computers(to me anyways)<i also felt this way first hearing about it> But the t6520 blew me away...
-Amd Athalon 3400+ 64bit processer
-200 gb hardrive
-1 gb sd ddr ram
-8 in 1 memory card reader
-Ati Radeon Xpress200 mother board(It is amazing!!plus u can add another pci card if wanted..but its not needed)
-Windows Media center
-dvd+/-RW
-CD-ROM

and all for just above $600 dollars...thats right.. basicly a $3000-5000 alien ware or dell or what ever but ALOT cheaper..

i mean this thing is simply amazing...check it out

no videocard, socket-754, guessing pc2700 ram.

getting it to the quality of the alienware(barring hardware failures) would be another $500 - 800

but if you allready have a vid card/monitor/kbm go for it if your under an insane budget.

Ugh, Radeon 9000 is old and not good at all.

Also, is it a dual PCI Ex board or is there only one PCI Ex slot?

Which version of the AMD 3400 are you getting? (core name) There are at least two AMD 3400s, maybe more.

P.S. Did you say this thing runs BF:2?

Thanks for clearing that up.

For under a 1000 dollars it's a good computer, no doubt. Though I just got a computer, so I'm not in the market. None the less, good deal!

@: Bonez, yea, you were right with the motherboard. Dead on to be exact.
