HOT! Sprint PCS F&F plans+free vision+m2m+roaming

Sorry for taking so long to post this Bad Karma.

This is hot!
For $30 you get 500 minutes + unlimited power vision
$50 you get $1250 minutes + unlimited power vision
$100 you get 2500 minutes + unlimited power vision
The $30 a month plan with junk fees and taxes will most likely be somewhere around $35 total.
There are free phones, but I got the Multimedia Sanyo MM8300 for $99 after $30 rebate. If you want to get quality audio and video streams, get any of the Power Vision phones or the Sanyo I mentioned.

Plan details:
free nights/weekends after 9pm.
Free Sprint/Nextel mobile-to-mobile,
free roaming
free long distance
UNLIMITED web, data, picture mail (Sprint Vision or Power Vision service depending on phone, phone must be web-capable.
Offer ends June 30th but may be pulled at any time.

To get Power Vision 3G speeds, you need to get a one of the 3g phones. If you don't care about Power Vision, you get the regular Vison speeds with the other phones.

You'll need a Sprint Employee email address to access the site and get this deal. You can try this one leigh.horner@sprint.com or Google '@sprint.com' for another address.

http://sprint.p.delivery.net/m/p/nex...pclanding.html

I've studied this deal. It's legit. If you have any questions, speak up. I might be able to help.

Ugg...

So I call customer care (I am already a Sprint customer...) to attempt to change to the employee referral plan. I get a pretty clueless lady who basically says it is a 3rd party plan and she cannot add it. She send to me the same web page you posted, but I tried to explain to her that the site only works for new sign ups...

So said ok, I can add it for you, I just need your friend to call in with his employee ID number and say he referred you so we can set it up...

you dont need an employee ID or for an employee to call in to get this deal. be persistent.

are you under contract? if not call retentions(800 658 7564 i think) and tell them you are thinking about canceling. you've been offered a better deal with unlimited web and a free phone by another carrier and would Sprint match it with the SERO offer. ask them when your billing cycle ends and to cancel you then. if the rep starts the disconnect process, you'll have time to call back and have them not disconnect. a lot of other existing cutomers have gotten this plan, but you have to be persistent. something else to consider: depending on how much you are spending per month if you're under contract, it might actually be worth it for you to cancel your current contract for $150 and sign up for this.

Other things to try:
Email Ecare and ask for SERO (Sprint Employee Referral Offer)

call *2
Press your language option
say speak to a representative
***BE VERY VERY NICE but firm***
-This will extend your contract for 2 more years.
-Tell him/her you wanted to switch plans and a friend who worked at sprint recommended one to you.
-Mention SERO and that it suits your needs.
-Smile, cross fingers and hope they can do it. if not, call back.

Ya, that was my next course of action... I just didnt want to dick with it at 2am last night... =)

I'll give it a try here right now...

EDIT:

Ok, tried it again... got a lady who said she had never heard of the SERO program. She "sounded" honest in her answer, so she transferred me over to the employee sales division. They weren't open, so it actually hung up on me. Guess I'll go for try 3 later.

Sent an email to Customer Care... here is their reply:

Dear Ian,

to assist you regarding the SERO plan.

Following are the details for the SERO plan, and the steps to sign up
for this plan.

SERO plan is limited to:

Sprint Market to get the plan.
- Add-a-Phone is not eligible (cannot be shared with other

- Must sign up for or renew a Two-year Subscriber Agreement.

Activation Details:

Friends and Family Referral Activations (new activations only)

- Employees can have up to five activation referrals in total across
both the CDMA and iDEN networks. The email address of the Sprint

- All orders must be activated through the InPhonic web site which is
located at the following URL:

<http://www.sprint.com/SERO>

Select handsets will be offered through the web site.

- Inphonic will validate if the order meets the program requirements and
credit guidelines.

- Existing customers that want to switch to this plan are required to

call customer retentions like i said. u can use the threat of canceling to your advantage, just be nice and make sure u tell them to cancel at the end of your billing cycle in case they call your bluff and start the canceling process. you'll be able to call back and stop the canceling process later. make sure they know you will be willing to stay and sign a new 2 year agreement if they will get you on SERO and port your current number to the SERO plan, if that's important for you. try for a credit on a new phone.

if retentions says they can't do the SERO change, they are lying. hang up and call back for a new rep. retentions can make any changes to customer accounts.

Sprint SERO Plan now for everyone.

WHAT IS SERO?
SERO is a heavily discounted plan for friends and family of Sprint employees. There are currently 3 different plans available:
(INDIVIDUAL PLANS ONLY)
1: Sprint Employee Referral Offer 500 for $30 per month
2. Sprint Employee Referral Offer 1250 for $49.99 per month
3. Sprint Employee Referral Offer 2500 for $99.99 per month

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH SERO?
- Unlimited Sprint Vision or Power Vision (Vision for Vision phones, Power Vision for Power Vision phones)
- Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
- Unlimited Sprint Picture Mail
- Unlimited Roaming
- Unlimited Nights & Weekends (Starts @ 9PM for those who signed up before 12/003/06, 7 PM for those who signed up after 12/3/06)
- Nationwide Long Distance
- Crystal Clear Calls
- Voice Mail
- Caller ID
- Call Waiting
- Numeric Paging
- Three-Way Calling

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR SERO?
There are two ways of doing this.
1: The easiest way is to do it directly through the SERO website. Go to www.sprint.com/sero and use the e-mail address savings@sprint.com with a valid zipcode. Choose a phone/plan that works best for you, and submit your order.
2: You can also sign up for a regular plan in any Sprint store, and hope that a retention specialist is willing to convert it to a SERO plan for you. This is definitely the harder way of doing it, and takes persistence on your part to be able to pull it off. To talk to a retention specialist call Sprint (800-974-2221) and ask for retentions. Another #: 866-250-2221. DO NOT DO THIS AFTER BUYING A PHONE FROM BB, CUSA, etc or you will get hit with a collections bill for the full price of the phone!
3: For those of you who already are on Sprint: you can email Sprint eCare at ecare1@cc.sprintpcs.com and tell them you wanted to switch to SERO in store but they couldn't do in store and advised you to contact eCare with this code "#C SEROF&FEVDO$30.00". Your results may vary. An existing customer who has fulfilled the term agreement is treated like a brand new customer and is issued a brand new phone number.

If you sign up and want a $25 free giftcard for being referred to Sprint, PM me. No that's not why I posted this thread. I've had this plan since May and have used the unlimited internet quite a bit. SERO really is a great deal.

You probably can't add other lines I'm guessing? Right now we have 4 lines on a Fair and Flexible plan with 2000 anytime minutes, night and weekends at 7pm, insurance on the phones (great deal, get it if you don't have it), Unlimited text messages on 2 of the phones, Vision pack on 2, and probably some other stuff and I think the bill is around $170. (Also have a discount for being a Home Depot employee, even though my father isn't anymore)

no these are single lines only plans. SERO would still be cheaper for 4 lines @ 500 minutes a piece. $35x4=$140, that's with tax and fees included. the only time my bill has been over $35 was when i went over 500 anytime minutes one month.

edit: oops, didn't see you guys have insurance. not sure how much extra that would be.
