it's a 2.6ghz, the watercooling is supposed to be able to cool upto 4ghz.

ik u over clock the processor to 4ghz and thats why you need the watercooling

personally, on just water, 4ghz on an intel is a bit too much of a reach.

intels are known for their excessive amount of heat production, that's why watercooling would be included in the system instead of a air system(or phase shifting heatsink[heatpipe])

but taking a 2.6 and putting it up another 1.4ghz is a bit much, that's a 54% OC, which in terms of systems in general is insane, watercooling or not.

even if i had the gear, i wouldn't even take my 2.2 upto 3.0 just because it puts too much stress on the system, and creates stability issues.

well i mean its not like you cant swap out that chip for a different one. id probly swap it out for something else maybe a 2.8ghz and oc it to maybe 3.5
