Also if there happens to be some Special Forces expansion packs with comparable prices, I recommend to get that also,.. sometimes they are bundled together quite cheaply. With SF you get a couple of maps that are quite popular (Iron Gator, my favourite) and you get more unlocks faster to play with - you do not have to unlock the SF weapons, you can use the SF unlocks to standard BF2 unlock weapons too.

So get it, we play every now and then BF2 still.

A helpful note for new BF2/SF players: install them in this order: BF2 -> SF -> patch 1.41 -> any Euro forces or Armoured forces pack and Tampa maps, and mods.

ya i was thinking about special forces. regularly bundled its 30 bux over here. you might be able to get a deal but i doubt it. if anything pick up bf2 and come get shot by me. i suck at flying helicopters tho...

Sounds like Ill pick it up on the way home today. Best buy isnt really good at selling things at low prices (look at their ram) so this was a shocker for me.

Woot!!! Got a copy! They said the deal might end on sat so better hurry! Even tho they were marked as 19.99, they rang up as 9.99. Ill be joining you guys on bf2 now
