I don't really use iTunes except to transfer my CDs to the iPod. I've never purchased anything through iTunes. But as far as being simple and playing music, the iPod works just great. [/apple fanboy rant]

I've played around with a friends zune before and I personally like the iPod better. I'm actually planning on buying an iPod Classic this week when I get the time. My iPod Mini is still kickin from 3 years ago, 4gb is just not enough space for me.

I think the touches are sweet, but I like how you can use a normal iPod with one hand. A touch is too advanced for me. I like the simple wheel that I can adjust everything I want to without even looking at it. Also.. 16gb for $400? That's a little much.. and who buys a new mp3 player with only 8gb (which formatted I think the touch has just over 7gb)

Oh and I like itunes. Easy to use, easy to transfer music, and really easy to buy music. I don't buy that much, but when I do it's easier than illegally downloading it.

are zunes better than ipods? never used one before, i would like to see the sound quality of a zune tho, i have a 30 gig ipod video, the only thing i hate about it is that i have to convert videos and movies before i put 'em into my ipod..it sux, waste of time
