i'll start off saying that this is a really cool thing to have on your forums. definately a good way to pass the time if you dont' have anything better to do.
what i don't understand is, when trying to fight the lowest of the low creatures (gollum), nothing happens at all. it's just miss miss miss miss miss miss miss. i can't hit him. he can't hit me. and even if i save up the cash to start buying spells, i have to get to lvl 1 before equiping them. so i'm stuck. mabye it's cause i'm playing a wizard. but my little stabby dagger can't seem to hit a malnourished halfling, and his wild swings with those gangly arms are equally avoidable. it get to the point were i get bored and just hit surrender to stop the wiff-wiff-fest.

any suggestions, tips, etc.?

Have you tried mixing it up? Don't just continually use the dagger, throw a few punches in there too.

*sad sad SW* fought everything in could, and it was the same wiff wiff wiff stuff as before. tried switching up attacks and all that, nothing. no hits for me, not hits from the monster bot. endless cycle of boredome
so i fought something a bit higher up the food chain and bammo, hospital time. no all that cash i was saving for spells is gonna go towards recorvery . lessen learned though.
is this matrix style "wiff-fest" happening to anyone else?

Dude Im in the same boat! I cant get past Gollum............. Im a wizard and the job only pays 20 every 24 hrs(first spell at 2,200=months later). the only thing you can get for a weapon level 0 is a dagger and that doesnt do anything!
IS THERE HOPE FOR US?
