Tested this theory by idling on the server, and from game-servers.com graphs I can see game went live last night. And then apparently EA account servers disconnected everyone. Tried just for fun, I am not making a point or anything.

PB old version
One more observation on BF2142 titan nsn server: most of the players trying to join are kicked as the server punkbuster version is outdated and players are up to date. No wonder no players.
