2142 patch

what is the latest patch number for 2142. I found 1.40 is that the final one?

that 1.4 patch is beta. make sure you backup your original folders before you install it.... we all know how EA can be....

Yeah do not patch to 1.40.

yeah i patched to 1.4 big mistake

1.25 is the way to go, even though theres not a lot of maps

I updated mine today, and the patch screwed everything up for me. Game was hanging halfway through loading maps...
i looked at the patch log, and it (the Patch) couldn't find the install directory. kept getting errors like

warning wpt0036: Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was
found. No update done since file contents do not match.

Had to do a fresh install, and now I can't locate the Northern Strike d/l

Damn EA sux!!!
